What the series was

On October 9, 2008, Nikon Inc. announced Look Good in Pictures, a fall series starring style expert and television personality Carson Kressley, with episodes hosted at LookGoodinPictures.com. Nikon Rumors, covering the announcement, described it as a made-for-web entertainment series and gave its full title as Look Good in Pictures: Nikon’s How to Series with Carson Kressley.

According to that first release, the series set out to give practical tips on looking photogenic in everyday settings — vacations, holidays, nights out and weddings. The first episodes were filmed around New York City and covered general advice on looking good in photos and taking better pictures, including using the flash and posing. Nikon’s Lisa Baxt, quoted in the release, called it the first program of its kind to help people look better in their photos.

None of the sources we could open gives a final episode count or an end date.

Other websites still link to a handful of the series’ archive addresses. Each now carries an archive note and new, sourced guidance on a related topic:

The original numbering is not documented in the sources above, so these pages do not claim to know which episode a given number was.
